About Matlife

Matlife — the Matlife Charter — is the global sanctioning body for submission-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We exist to do one thing: produce the highest level of pure, finish-or-bust grappling competition in the world.

The ruleset

• Submission only. No points. No advantages.
• Sudden-death overtime: first submission wins.
• Standard IBJJF weight classes for gi and no-gi.
• Federation referees. Federation timekeepers. Federation standards.

Apply for promoter status from your dashboard. Sanctioned events get full federation backing: ruleset, referees, ranking integration, and the Matlife platform for registrations, brackets, weigh-ins, and results.
